It’s no secret that the team at Oakland Veterinary Referral Services loves animals. That’s part of the reason we are so happy to work in Bloomfield Hills—all the dog-friendly places to go near Detroit! Here are some of our favorites:

  1. Detroit Riverfront

What’s better than a day at the river with your best friend? The Detroit Riverfront offers a few miles of scenic views for your next walk with your pup. As long as your dog is leashed, he is welcome to enjoy this peaceful, local attraction with you.

WIth marshes, ponds, forests, fields, rivers, lakes, and trails, you can spend hours enjoying life with your best friend in this beautiful spot. While dogs are not allowed in buildings or swimming areas, they have free reign over the rest of the recreation center.
