There are a variety of types of cat enclosures that give your kitty safe access to the outdoors. They can easily jump up to check out that bird nest in the tree nearby.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Shady Spots: <\/strong>While cats do love a good lie in the sun, it is also important to provide plenty of shade in your <em>outdoor cat enclosure<\/em>. Vinyl or wire are the best materials to use to build a safe and escape-proof structure. You\u2019ll want to line the bottom of the enclosure with pavers, grass, or even an outdoor rug to provide a comfortable surface for paws (and keep dirt out of your home).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A few pieces of wood or premade shelves will give your cat the perfect spots for perching. Pick out a few of your cat\u2019s favorite toys and scratching posts. Make sure there is always an easily-accessible bowl of water.
